About Me
Ballerina
I was born in Belgium as the youngest of four children. I started ballet dancing at the age of 5. Getting lost in music, jumping around, improving coordination give me energy. Classical ballet, dancing on points, jazz ballet... love it. Danced 30 years before I specialised in mountainbike.
Engineer
I love nature and was curious to understand how big things, like our galaxy, and small things, like atoms, are working together. That's why I studied engineering physics and worked as a product manager in high tech companies. I'm a good abstract thinker, not practical though. Still improving all mechanical parts of my bike.
Mountainbiker
I started mountainbiking in 2008. I enjoy being outside and the feeling of being lost in wild nature. I made long relaxing trips, until 2018. I joined the Belgian Ardennes MTB competition (BAMS) and was on podium for the first time. I liked so much giving it all during a race that I decided to train more dedicated. The year after, in 2019 I was leader of the BAMS, won my first UCI MTB World Marathon series and could represent Belgium at the European Championship MTB Marathon. Check out my 2019 race results.
